About different control panels in VPS Hosting

Keep in mind, Linux VPS hosting control panels are generally going to require a lot more text based interface than Windows VPS ones. Virtual private servers offer you many options to choose from in your website creation adventures.

For Windows you may want to stick by Plesk. These are the two most widely used and respected control panels respectively for each operating system. Windows has recently released the Enkompass brand control panel, but it is not available to all clients. As the notoriety of Enkompass grows, surely more clients will pick it up and offer it to their customers.

Parallels Plesk is available for Linux or Windows, though is more used with Windows in VPS hosting. There are different logins to grant access to administrators, resellers, clients, the domain owner and mail users. While cPanel used to be the more extensive of the clients, Plesk has really stepped up their game to match them.

This allows those who have had experience with cPanel to make an easy transition to the Enkompass interface. Much like cPanel you can upgrade your Enkompass account when you need to incorporate more users to your server. The difference of course is that cPanel is primarily used for Linux instead of Windows. Windows Enkompass is made by the same company as cPanel and shares many of the same kinds of options.
